Voicemail not working right?

19 09 2007

Thanks to D. Young for this one:

Ian,

Found the answer and figured I’d pass it along.

For those who’ve unlocked and have a non-functioning Voicemail button,
here’s how to fix it:

1. First, take note of what your voicemail number is with your current
provider (for example, in Spain the Vodafone
<http://modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_voicemail_to_work_on_unlocked_iPhone>
voicemail number is 177).

2. Click the phone
<http://modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_voicemail_to_work_on_unlocked_iPhone>
button in your iPhone
<http://modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_voicemail_to_work_on_unlocked_iPhone>.

3. Click the keypad tab.

4. Type the following code
<http://modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/Getting_voicemail_to_work_on_unlocked_iPhone>:

 *5005*86*xxx#

Where xxx is your voicemail number.**

5. Hit call.

6. Give it a bit, and the code will be set.

7. Hit the voicemail button, and it will now call your voicemail.

Regards,

D. Young

YouTube Doesn’t Work? Try This!

19 09 2007

Was just Googling for a new YouTube solution (people who unlock their iPhones lose YouTube access unless they perform a fix) and saw this:

We will be putting up the tutorial on our own site relatively soon, but just thought this would help!

PayPal is up, licenses are down (for the moment)

18 09 2007

The good news: PayPal is now functional on our site. Which means you can keep ordering at great low rates!

The bad news: We’re 250 licenses short of what we’re supposed to have from iPhoneSIMFree. Meaning that we’re out of stock for the moment. However this problem should be remedied by 48 hours from now. Probably WAY before.

Google Says No More…PayPal is okay though…

18 09 2007

Well, we got an email from Google this morning. Because we’re selling iphone unlocks, they’ve frozen our Checkout account. Or rather, suspended it. Meaning nobody can place any new orders to our account.

The solution? We’ll get PayPal up and running sometime in the near future. By the way, if anyone knows of a credit card merchant solution that is cheaper than PayPal for large transaction volumes (upwards of $10,000 per week) then let us know!

Neat, Quick Tool

16 09 2007

If you’re looking for a quick, all-in-one unlocking tool on the PC side for the iPhone, we found a rogram based on WINstaller over at www.aussieiphoneunlock.com (a competitor). They said whoever wants to can use the software (it has their name on it). So if you’re wondering how to perform the PC side of the unlock, wonder no more!

Unlocked iPhone on eBay…

15 09 2007

Here’s another auction from the people at Freeit4Less for an unlocked iPhone!

New Licenses!

15 09 2007

We just received no fewer than 250 licenses from iPhoneSIMFree today! Additionally, we are getting 250 more after the weekend. So all of you who have sent in your IMEIs will be covered, plus all of you who have ordered, or are going to order, looks like! To my knowledge this makes us quite possibly the second largest iPhoneSIMFree reseller!

We’re Out for the Moment

14 09 2007

We’re out of licnses again. Thanks to everyone for sending in their IMEI numbers. By the end of today we will have 250 of you activated. For the rest of you who have already sent in your IMEIs, we will be sending out your unlocks as soon as we get another bunch of licenses from iPhoneSIMFree. This time it looks like we’ll be purchasing 250 licenses, for 500 total.

By the way, did you know that iPhoneWorldWideUnlock has only shipped unlocks to less than 37% of its customers so far? They look to be waiting to finish orders for a huge 5000-license batch before they’ll get the unlocks and send them out! We, on the other hand, will be servicing, by the end of the day, nearly everyone who sent in their IMEI number, and at least half of the people who have sent in orders so far. That’s the advantage of doing business with Freeit4Less!
